Hey you guys. Thanks to everyone who came out to our shows and supported us in Indiana and Michigan last weekend. We’ve just posted SOME of the photos and will be posting more soon, as well as some video, hopefully. Our good friend Chad came along to snap some shots. Big thanks to Chad! These were our last shows out East before heading to Portland for the move. We appreciate any and all prayers as we go out there!

Our next show is in Bothell, WA on May 4th. So all you Washingtonians, come out and see us! Then we’re heading back to Montana for some shows there. There will be many more, so keep checking back for more updates! Hey everyone…Okay… so we are doing a live recording coming up, Friday March 14, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, at the Sweetwater Theater.  We are pretty excited about it… and we’re gonna play some brand spanking new songs that night.  One is called “Oh Mystery” (or “Mystery” depending on who you ask in the band), and another is called “Heavens Sing”.  Hopefully they turn out great, and we can make a live CD out of the evening.  If you are anywhere near the Fort Wayne area, come on out on March 14 and have a good time with us.

Hey you guys, we just posted some new pics from this weekend! We had a great time in Lake Junaluska, NC. We played at a Youth Retreat there all weekend and also at a church Sunday night. It was an awesome trip, we met lots of cool people! Check the pics out here.

I’m currently sitting in the back of a room, watching 200+ middle schoolers go through their symbolic confirmation process, by drawing things and writing their experiences and bible verses on a “stole” (a long white sash they wear around their neck).  We’ve been leading worship for the past 2 days at a methodist camp here, where kids have come to confirm their faith.  Very cool kids, it’s been great to lead worship for them.

I definitely feel “old” when I’m around these kids… but at the same time, it reminds me of when I was their age.  I know I was a bit of a goofball… all that goes along with being a kid.  But I also felt a lot of things very deeply… and so I want to recognize that in young kids as much as I can.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update on our lives here in Rend The Heavens… We have a few weekend shows coming up, … they will be our very last while we’re Tennessee residents!  Yes, yes, by May all of us will be west-coasters.  Portland, Oregon is the destination, and we couldn’t be more excited about it.

We have started now to book for summer ‘08, so if you’re in the Northwest somewhere, or anywhere on the west coast for that matter, send us a booking request!  

Also, we have some new and exciting things happening with our website.  Friends Of Rend The Heavens is coming… and you all want to be a part of it… I know you do!
